Our rules of the road for how to behave on Beyond Grades
Beyond Grades is a social learning platform for professionals and entrepreneurs. We respect each other, help each other, and support each other. These guidelines apply to Beyond Grades content and to all our members. We want Beyond Grades to be a secure and enjoyable experience for all the members. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to determine what content violates our spirit and will not be allowed on the site/app. Beyond Grades members can share about their education, career journeys, life experiences, their work, business ideas and problems. They would be free to share their thoughts and opinions, while being careful to make sure everyone else gets a chance too as well.
We invite everyone – Beyond Grades is an open community platform. Anything members post on the forums can be seen and read by anybody. However, the content posted on groups is only visible to the members of that group. Because some of our features are open to the public and anybody can engage, we cannot be held liable for opinions that differ from our own.
Our mission is to make Beyond Grades a safe place – We provide a safe and trustworthy environment for our members by allowing them to connect with one another, converse, and share anything without fear.
We respect your dignity – We anticipate that all our members will respect the dignity of each other and refrain from harassing or degrading others. Please remember to be both relevant and respectful with what you post. We do not tolerate harassment, abuse, or threats to others.
We do not tolerate posts that are:
- Abusive, harassing, stalking, threatening or attacking others
- Defamatory, offensive, obscene, vulgar or depicting violence
- References to upsetting or distressing subjects
- Hateful in language targeting race/ethnicity, age, color, creed, religion, gender, sexual preference or orientation, nationality or political beliefs
- Sexually explicit or pornographic
- Fraudulent, deceptive, misleading or unlawful
- References to criminal or illegal activity
- Spamming in nature
- Job baits
- Commercial solicitations or solicitation of donations
Your privacy is our topmost priority – We never give out your personal information like email, name, or phone numbers to anyone. We respect your privacy and never ask for personal information from you without your permission. However, by using Beyond Grades you grant us permission to use or duplicate your content in any media, formats, and forms, and to copy, reproduce, adapt, translate, reformat, modify, publish, and distribute. Furthermore, any unsolicited ideas or suggestions you submit on our platform will automatically become the property of Beyond Grades, with no obligation to compensate you. We also request you to refrain from sharing any personal or financial information on our online communities such as bank details, passwords, addresses, emails, phone numbers, etc.
Blocking an account – Beyond Grades reserves the right to block/delete the account of any suspicious profile that would not be adhering to the platform’s guidelines. We reserve the right to delete off-topic posts/comments and will ban the members if necessary. Members are also allowed to report any profile which looks suspicious or violates the above mentioned guidelines.
