    Hi Everyone,

I am searching for my first job in Digital Marketing industry. Like if anyone has any idea about the interview round and how to ace it?

Some of the most common fresher job interview questions regardless of the field or industry are:

    1. Tell us about yourself?

    2. What are your strengths and weaknesses?

    3. What are your hobbies?

    4. Any past Internships( past work)?

    5. What do you know about the organization?

    6. Why do you want to work with us?

@Ansh Is it necessary to do internships before interviewing for a fresher job?

Depends from Industry to industry. However, having some experience with internships will

        1) Definitely make you learn a lot about work environment, work pressure and working ethics. It will become lot easier for you to adjust with your first job.

        2) Recruiters look up to freshers who have completed past internships. This allows them to trust your work and give you an opportunity to work in the company.

Internships are like cherry on a cake. Recruiters do consider your academics and educational qualifications for interviewing. But, Internships provide a practical output of your learnings and skillset.

The best part is, Internships need not be long. 3-4 months internships make you learn a lot and adds value to your resume. I would suggest you to apply for internships at Internshala.

Hi @Ishaan I recently gave an interview for content marketing role in a web and app development company. I had some past experiences of internships as well, and that became my strengths during the interview. Because even if I am applying for a fresher job, I had some experience or my past works in hand.

The interview revolved around my internships with some of the common questions such as:

    1. Tell us about yourself?

    2. What are your hobbies?

    3. Why do you want to work with us?

    4. What role did you have in your internships?

    5. What are your salary expectations?
