How to tackle mental stress?
Posted by Areeba Khan on June 29, 2021 at 8:18 amHello everyone.
Since a long time I have been mentally stressed regarding my career. I completed my graduation in BBA during the lockdown itself, in an online manner. But now it feels my career is at stake as I cannot find the desired job and also I am confused about how should I move forward with my studies?

Hi @areeba.k
I understand it’s a tough time for all of us: Students, Freshers, Entrepreneurs, Regular job working people everyone. Stressing out is not gonna help you, what I suggest is, you should learn new skills right now.
Skills which can be easily learned online like Digital marketing skills, writing skills, communication skills etc. These skills will provide you a base for every interview you will ever give in the near future.
Think of it as an opportunity to learn and grow. Let me know if I can help you any further
All the best!

Hello @areeba.k
I was one of the students who graduated in the year 2020. I totally agree with your concerns, as I have felt them too. But, after a point of time I decided to overcome my stress by following these tips:
1. Organize a duration period for whatever you do throughout the day. Don’t over do things.
2. Workout a bit and get yourself some fresh air.
3. Be positive about things even though you know this is not your best time.
4. Enjoy and spend time with your loved ones like family or friends.
5. Share out your feelings or whatever is going on in your mind. Loneliness is the biggest enemy, not sharing what you feel can lead to more stressful mindset.

One of the best way to relief stress is to just take your snap plus enjoy whatever thing you love to do. No matter whether that is dancing, hearing songs, reading, or writing. Carrying out anything you like to do will brighten up your feeling as well as divert you off the stress.

@areeba.k There are several websites that offer freelance projects to skilled people like you.
Before that, I would suggest you to refine some good article about content writing and research about the industry to understand how things work.
P.s No need to spend money on courses, we have enough resources for free on the internet.
After that, you can check out sites like Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer.com for finding work.

@Vaidya I completely understand your problem. But, unfortunately, things are not going back to normal anytime soon. It’s tough time for everyone and hence you need to find a way to distract yourself from overthinking.
We all know the normal career opportunity are disrupted. However, there are tons of other opportunities. Like you can learn anything online and enhance your career. Learn some in-demand skills, workout on yourself, find activities or hobbies that make you happy. Nowadays, you can earn from home as well.
So, options are always there. Just need to choose the best among them.
