Need help with increasing traffic
Posted by Talika Halder on March 16, 2021 at 10:12 amI just launched our new ecommerce website, and I’m trying to find out how to maximise traffic. I’ve worked on SEO, built social media profiles and posted content, and launched an instagram ad campaign. Now I’m looking for other ways to drive traffic to my site; any suggestions?

Hi. I guess you have to wait for a while for the results to kick in. It’s generates long term results. So, continue to work on what you are doing. And like Vihaan has said content marketing will generate organic traffic.

Hey, I agree with Maya. Give it some time. One more thing you could do is referral marketing. Since it’s an ecommerce website, influencer marketing might boost organic visitors as well.

Send out sales emails, abandoned cart emails etc… It might want the customers revisit the website and check out.

Are you giving the customers the right CTA’s? All of these might go in vain, if you don’t influence the customers to click on the link.

Follow these steps to increase your website traffic:
1. Perform Technical Audit on your website.
A technical audit is the very first step to creating an on-page SEO strategy.
2. Do Technical Improvements.
Locate areas of improvement for your website with SEO audit tools, in terms of page loading speed, navigation, coding, and website usability.
3. Align Content to Match the Search Intent.
People hit up the web with a specific purpose in mind: to find informational, motivational, transactional, commercial, or navigational content.

Hi, Considering you have just launched your website, SEO is always a long term game, It takes a lot of time to get reflected. But once if it working out, it gives you steady results.
Since you want to try new ones, to get instant results, you have to try paid channels. Which Paid channel to choose completely depends on where your target audience are. For example, if your target audience are women, Pinterest and Instagram works well for you. If keywords related to your website have a very good search volume, you can choose Google Ads.
Hope this helps.
