I think we all know how Google got in the news for giving a 1000 USD allowance to their employees for working remotely: http://www.hypebae.com/2020/5/google-1000-usd-allowance-working-from-home-employees-equipment-support-coronavirus

Some companies pay an internet allowance since we’re all using home internet, so that I think is good assistance.

Yes that is the basic many are paying for but some companies are doing an even better job to make remote working easy on employees like paying for ergonomic furniture.

My friend’s company is paying for his accomodation when he is working from the hills – beat that! Though he is at a senior position, maybe that matters as well.

Woah! That’s impressive. Companies are putting trust in their employees I observe.

At my company, no such allowance is being provided, unfortunately…

I read this on TCS website: “The impetuous response to the COVID-19 situation and lockdown was to allow the employees to work from home (WFH). Many companiesare now switching to permanent work from home, with top companies such as TCS planning to allow 75% of its employees to work from home by 2025. Almost half of the employees who are working remotely from home are content with their job and do not want to change the way they work in the near future.”
