Hi Ritesh, I would suggest you should keep your ppw(Paisa per word) low upto 0.40-0.50ppw. Since you are new to the industry and don’t have any in hand experience. Once you have finished with 1-2 projects of clients. You can definitely raise your price bar as per the market rates. @Tripod.Guy

@pranavsapre @Tripod.Guy It’s true that if you are new to any particular industry you lack experience. If you set your per word price high, people would move to any other content writer who offers services at much lower cost. Keep your price economical in the beginning, to get more projects.

Hi @Tripod.Guy
When I started content writing I usually charged 0.30-0.40 Ppw. And now, I am charging 0.80Ppw. It’s better to start with a lower price per word to get more projects and grow your freelancing career.

Hi @Tripod.Guy
Experience matters in each and every field. If you are a beginner, never bid for high prices.
Believe me! It’s not worth. Try to build your network as a freelancer. Let people know you and your work. And, after 2-3 major projects you are flexible to increase your charges at a reasonable price.
I had been in content writing industry for long and now I don’t even charge for words. I charge per hour. So, that’s the benefit you get with work experience.

Hi @Tripod.Guy
The charges for content writing highly depend on your experience. Because experience brings perfection. And that is why the businesses or clients prefer paying high rates to experienced writers over the new ones.
I would suggest you should develop your online portfolio at first, and then you can carry out some small projects to build a strong portfolio.
